An English victory was recorded at a commemorative football match to mark the Christmas truce of 1914.
It saw a team of club players representing England take on their coaches and managers who were representing the Germans, with the England side securing a resounding 6-0 victory.
Twyford Comets chairman Peter Kelly said: "It was played in good nature and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone."
He added the relatively younger age of the 'English' players meant the result was not a complete surprise.
The Truce saw Allied and German soldiers leave the trenches on Christmas Day in 1914 and play football together.
Twyford Comets has 16 teams ranging from under sevens to under 21s.
The match was refereed by Rob Bushnell from Floor Store in Twyford, which is one of the club's sponsors.
It was played as part of Twyford Village Partnership's Living Advent Calendar.
Donations were collected on the day for Wokingham-based charity Building for the Future, which supports disabled children.
