More than 1,300 visitors enjoyed a day of family fun, cosplay and pop-culture entertainment at Maidenhead Comic Con on Sunday.
Organisers Bolt Events said the day at Braywick Leisure Centre was a ‘huge success’, with character meet-and-greets and many attractions on offer.
The iconic KITT car from Knight Rider proved popular as it interacted with guests.
Optimus Prime and the Daleks caused friendly chaos as they made their way around the event.
Cosplayers were out in force, with the ‘largest and most creative group to date’ showcasing everything from sci-fi icons to superheroes.
Guests got the chance to meet the dinosaurs, ride a raptor and get their faces painted for free.
There was plenty of nostalgic fun to be had for all generations in the retro gaming zone and there were also prizes up for grabs in the costume contests for kids, adults and families.
Visitors browsed a hall full of trader stands, offering everything from boxed toys to comics, trading cards and more.
Event organiser Zoe Crofts said: “We absolutely love coming to Maidenhead.
"We saw familiar faces who always come to support us, as well as new ones who joined in the fun.
“For me, it’s all about watching families enjoy the day together — the smiles and the laughter make it all worthwhile.”
Bolt Events has thanked everyone who attended, as well as ‘the incredible traders, cosplay groups, and crew who helped make the event such a memorable success’.
