A much-valued community library in Eton Wick has reopened after two years of closure – helping the elderly in particular avoid arduous trips into Windsor for basic library services.

In the public notices this week, Eton College is seeking permission to do some work on common land, and there is a road closure planned for part of Edinburgh Avenue in Slough.
