Slough man sentenced to eight years for Burnham rape

A 34-year-old man has been jailed for eight years after being found guilty of rape.

Huseyin Dinc, from Thirlmere Avenue, Slough, was found guilty by unanimous jury at Amersham Crown Court of one count of rape of a woman aged 16 years or over.

He was sentenced at the same court on Friday.

On July 28, 2014, Dinc raped a woman in Burnham.

He was arrested on July 28, 2014, and charged on November 27 with two counts of rape, concerning the same victim, but found not guilty of one count.

Detective Constable Rob Gibson said: “I would like to thank the victim for being extremely courageous in coming forward and for all the witnesses who contributed to the case.”
