The Fat Duck
Prestigious restaurants in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire have been chosen as part of The Good Food Guide’s list of the country’s top 50 restaurants for 2017.
Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck in Bray High Street was ranked sixth in the country, ahead of André Garrett at Cliveden in Taplow, which took 19th place.
The Waterside Inn, run by the Roux brothers in Ferry Lane, Bray, was ranked 26th out of 50.
The top spot on the list, which was announced on Wednesday, was taken by L’Enclume in Cartmel, Cumbria.
The lists were compiled from the venues' scores in the Good Food Guide, inspection reports and readers’ feedback.
The Good Food Guide is available to buy from Monday.
