A young footballer from Dedworth has reached the final of a national competition to find an Asian football star.
Bilal Butt, 13, of Stuart Way, was chosen out of 100 players at the first session of the Search for an Asian Football Star competition which took place at Wembley Powerleague.
The Burnham Junior FC player, who trains with the Chelsea Elite Academy, will now go through the grand final along with 32 competitors which will take place at the Powerleague on November 1.
Naghman Butt, Bilal's father, said: "I am quite pleased that Bilal has made it to the final but he was confident he would be able to give a good display and stake his claim for the final stage."
Bilal took part in the first session on Saturday, September 27.
Search For An Asian Football Star, backed by financial company TradeNext, is aimed at helping young Asian players make their way in the game.
