Firefighters were called to a car fire in Cippenham early this morning.

A crew from Slough Fire Station attended the blaze which had engulfed a car in Hull Close at 3am and took about an hour to bring it under control.

Firefighters said the vehicle, described as a family saloon, was ‘gutted’ and two other cars parked nearby were also damaged.

It is not yet known what caused the fire.

Police are believed to be investigating the incident.
