A 40-year-old man has been bailed by Thames Valley Police following his arrest in connection with a bomb scare in Burnham on Saturday.
Police were called to a house in The Fairway early on Saturday morning, where a number of chemicals were discovered. Neighbours were evacuated as a precautionary measure until midnight.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians arrived at the scene to carry out controlled burning of the chemicals.
The man was arrested on suspicion of wasting police time, making a false report to police, possession of class B drug with intent to supply, concerned in the production of a class A drug, and possess/control explosive with the intent to endanger life/injure property.
He has been released on police bail until 13 August.
