The talents of Will and Michelle Mellor will be shared with children and adults at the new Mellor Performing Arts School.
A range of classes taking in musical theatre, dance and acting will start in the new year at the Burnham Park Hall in Windsor Lane.
Actor Will Mellor, who is known for his roles in No Offence and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, lives in Burnham with his wife Michelle and their children.
Together they will run and teach at the school, which is for children as well as adults.
Will said: “This is something we have wanted to do for a while. We hope it is something that will be really good for the community. It’s were kids can learn something new and get a lot of confidence, as well as for adults to learn something they’ve wanted to do for a long time.”
Primarily led by Michelle as well as a team of experienced teachers across the board of performing arts, this is a new facility for the village.
Michelle is a professional dancer, and has previously toured with Beyonce as a backing dancer. She is also known within Burnham for running weekly Zumba classes which are also held at Burnham Park Hall.
Will added: “I will do a few feature lessons, but we have lots of staff on board.
“We are having a taster day on Saturday so we can get an idea of what will be most popular and number for the new year.”
With classes ranging from baby ballet, to street jazz for both adults and children, to musical theatre and pilates, there is something for everyone.
