Villager, 21, released on bail after denying assault

A 21-year-old Burnham villager has denied assaulting a man.

Daniel Hicks, of Clonmel Way, pleaded not guilty at Slough Magistrates Court on August 31 to assaulting Anthony Stevenson and causing him actual bodily harm in Slough on December 23.

He has been released on bail and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on November 19 for a plea and case management hearing.
