Well-known villager cleared of assault

A well-known local in Burnham has been cleared of assaulting two women.

Mark Fleming, a member of staff at The Garibaldi pub, appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates Court (pictured) on Monday after a 29-year-old and 41-year-old claimed he had beaten them up in The George Inn at about 10.30pm on July 15 last year.

Fleming, 47, who lives near the two pubs in the High Street, denied two counts of assault by beating and both charges were dismissed by magistrates.
