Windsor RFC still searching for their first win of the season after Buckingham loss

Windsor are yet to pick up a victory in the South West 1 East this season but the side showed one might not be far from emerging following their performance against Buckingham at the weekend.

On Saturday, Neal Kennedy’s side were narrowly beaten 22-15, a vastly improved showing compared to their 34-0 loss to Bracknell a week prior, and their opening day defeat at Beaconsfield (47-36).

The Royals welcome Chippenham to Home Park this Saturday, a side sitting in 13th place in the division.

Marlow will kick off their Southern Counties North campaign with a home game against Bicester this Saturday.

In preparation for the new season, Marlow took on Weybridge (September 4) and Camberley (September 11) earlier this month at their respective grounds.

Impressively, Rory Greenslade-Jones’ side emerged victorious in both fixtures, defeating their opposition 26-24 and 15-7.

Slough will travel to Hungerford for their first match of the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Premier season, while near rivals Drifters journey over to Chipping Norton.
