Furze Platt Conservation

The heritage of buildings in Furze Platt could be protected under plans for a new conservation area.

 

The Furze Platt Triangle conservation area would include Linden Avenue, Courthouse Road and Furze Platt Road, which have many Victorian and Edwardian buildings.

George Mair

Tributes have poured in for a popular former councillor and key figure in the Liberal party who has died aged 68.
