Walkers will be dusting off their boots as they prepare for the annual Thames Valley Adventure Playground sponsored walk. The fundraiser, which will this year form part of the Bath Road playground's 30th anniversary celebrations, takes place today. Participants can walk five or 10 miles in aid of the Taplow centre for adults and children with special needs.

A teenage motorcyclist was injured in an accident in Bath Road this morning. The 19-year-old male came off his motorbike after a collision with a car near the corner of River Road, Taplow. An ambulance was called at 8:56am and he was taken to Wexham Park Hospital with a suspected ankle injury.
