Pirates take over Burnham Library
Matthew Emery and Hazel Ward, both seven.
Pirates uncovered sunken treasure at Burnham Library this morning.
The Windsor Lane venue was awash with more than 50 children in full pirate gear at a half-term fun activity.
The five to eight-year-olds made their own pirate hats and treasure scrolls before setting off in search of hidden gems.
Library manager Sue Lemon said: "They all went away with some gold coins and packets of sweets.
"We try and do something like this every time it's school holidays as it always seems to be so popular."
