Our House - Wycombe Swan
Everybody involved in the Wycombe Swan Youth Theatre’s production of the Madness musical ‘Our House’ should be extremely proud of themselves. This was a brilliant show.
Running two parallel ‘What if?’ storylines to tell the story of young Joe Casey and the life changing decisions he made on his 16th birthday. This exuberant, emotional and energetic production has to be one of the best youth performances I’ve seen.
With a more than competent cast, huge chorus line, inventive choreography, direction, production and the music of Madness, what was there not to like?
Special praise must go Guy Lambert who as both ‘Joe Caseys’ was hardly off the stage. Acting, singing, dancing and performing some ultra-quick costume changes, this talented performer has a big future ahead.
I’m a big fan of Madness and I’m now a big fan of the Wycombe Swan Youth Theatre. As Suggs sang, ‘It must be love’.
